A beautiful beach location close to town, but very expensive for what you get indoors. Positive: The location was the best feature - short walk to beautiful beach & 15-20 min drive to cute town. Patio was nice with oceanview. We like to cook, so functional kitchen was appreciated. Management gave us a 50% refund (100% would have been better!) because the golf cart we rented from place they recommended felt unsafe & unwieldy on the roads & we did not use it after trying it out for 20 minutes. I understand that their usual policy requires more notice to cancel - but it felt like a money grab. Management was communicative & easy to reach. Keyless entry was nice & they allowed us to check-in early, which was convenient for us. Good wifi. Negative: Place is dated - could use a coat of paint. Torn pillow on chair & stains on old recliner were unpleasant. Couch lumpy & soft (old?). King mattress like a marshmallow & sagging. Terrible water pressure in showerheads. Would have liked a basic metal frying pan (not mystery-material old scratched nonstick) & metal cooking utensils instead of plastic ones. None of the windows open! An ocean cross-breeze would have been lovely with the patio doors open, but everything is sealed shut or not operational. Patio is the ONLY view - ALL other windows look out on parking lots.Marketed as a "resort" but is basically an Airbnb/rental. For the cost, they could have included a beach umbrella & chairs.
